USCG Captain Brian Holloway
USCG Captain Brian Holloway, owner and lead guide of Nashville Fishing Guides, brings a lifetime of fishing passion and a decade of Tennessee lake expertise to every charter. Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, Brian grew up fishing the rivers, reservoirs, and lakes of the Southeast before moving to Middle Tennessee in 2014, where he quickly fell in love with the unique patterns and powerhouse hybrid and striped bass that Percy Priest Lake is known for.
As a United States Coast Guard–licensed captain, Brian combines professionalism, safety, and hands-on instruction to deliver unforgettable fishing experiences. His clients know him for his high energy, relentless work ethic, and commitment to results—because as he always says, “We don’t take people on glorified boat rides… we catch fish.”
With thousands of hours on Percy Priest, Brian has developed a deep understanding of seasonal movements, bait behavior, and structure fishing. He runs top-tier electronics, live sonar, and pro-grade tackle to make every trip efficient, exciting, and productive. Whether he’s guiding families, first-time anglers, or hardcore fishermen hunting trophy hybrids and stripers, his goal is always the same: put fish in the boat and make memories that last.
Outside of guiding, Brian is a successful entrepreneur, dedicated family man, and lifelong outdoorsman who has built multiple service-based businesses across Middle Tennessee. But no matter how busy life gets, the water is where he comes alive—and helping others experience the thrill of a hard-fighting striper is what keeps him passionate about this work.
If you want a captain who knows the lake, loves the grind, and thrives on seeing clients hook into big fish, Captain Brian Holloway is the guide you want leading the way
